What we offer
Prescription Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
Using Botulinum Toxin Type A
At Bezar, anti-wrinkle treatments are approached as medical treatments, not cosmetic transactions. Every face is different, and every treatment is prescribed with intention, precision, and a long-term view of your skin and facial movement.
We provide prescription anti-wrinkle injections using botulinum toxin type A, including Botox®, Xeomin®, and Dysport®, following a comprehensive consultation and individualised treatment plan. Your treatment is guided by what your face needs now, while protecting how it will age in the future.
What are Anti-Wrinkle Injections?
Anti-wrinkle injections use botulinum toxin type A to temporarily relax targeted muscles that contribute to expression lines, tension, and overactivity. By softening these patterns, the skin can appear smoother, more rested, and more balanced, while still looking natural and expressive.
These treatments are commonly known by brand names such as Botox®, Xeomin®, and Dysport®. While the mechanism is similar, the product choice, placement, and dosing are always tailored to you and prescribed only after assessment.
What can Anti-Wrinkle Treatments be used for?
Anti-wrinkle injections may be prescribed to address:
Forehead lines
Frown lines
Crow’s feet
Facial tension and muscle overactivity
Jaw clenching and facial slimming
Teeth grinding
Headaches and migraine-related muscle tension (consultation required)
All treatment areas are discussed during your consultation to ensure they are appropriate, necessary, and aligned with your goals.
Skin Preparation and Clinical Assessment
At Bezar, anti-wrinkle treatments are never performed on untreated skin.
As part of your appointment, your skin is cleansed, gently exfoliated, nourished, and protected with SPF prior to treatment. This allows for a clear clinical assessment of skin quality, tone, hydration, and structure, ensuring treatment decisions are made with accuracy and care.
For regular Bezar clients, this skin preparation is included as part of your service and reflects the time and attention given to every appointment. It also allows for ongoing reassessment of how your skin is responding to treatments, ensuring results remain balanced and consistent over time.
Where appropriate, clients may also choose to upgrade their appointment to include a full facial treatment, supporting skin health alongside injectable outcomes.
The Bezar Difference
At Bezar, you are not choosing a product. You are choosing a practitioner and a process.
You are consulted and treated by the same experienced Registered Nurse injector
Every appointment allows time to reassess your face, movement, and skin
Treatments are prescribed, not promoted
Results are prioritised over trends or volume
Outcomes are designed to be natural, refined, and long-lasting
Treatment cost cover your assessment, treatment, and follow up appointment. At your two week followup on your first appointment, if your practitioner feels a top-up is required up to 6 units total can be used at no cost to the patient.
We believe anti-wrinkle treatments should evolve with you. Your face is reassessed at every visit because your skin, muscle patterns, hormones, and lifestyle are always changing.
A Considered, Educated Approach
If you are new to anti-wrinkle treatments, the consultation is where everything begins. This is your opportunity to understand how treatments work, what they can and cannot do, and whether they are right for you.
You are never expected to know what to ask for or which product you need. That responsibility sits with us.
If you are experienced with anti-wrinkle treatments, we still take the time to reassess, refine, and ensure your current approach continues to support your skin and facial balance.
Safety, Continuity, and Care
Bezar is a permanent Marlborough-based clinic. We do not fly in and fly out. This ensures continuity of care, appropriate follow-up, and a high standard of clinical responsibility around prescription treatments.
All anti-wrinkle injections require a consultation and medical assessment prior to prescribing, in line with New Zealand regulations.
Booking Your Appointment
You may book:
A consultation only, or
A consultation and treatment together
Bezar Payment plans are available for anti-wrinkle treatments
If you have had anti-wrinkle treatments previously, you may book both at the same time. A consultation will always be completed first to ensure treatment is appropriate on the day.
