What we offer
Skin Regeneration & Bioremodelling
Profhilo® & Sunekos®
At Bezar, treatments are never chosen from a menu. Skin regeneration injectables such as Profhilo® and Sunekos® are selected based on your skin, your concerns, and where you’re at in your skin journey — not trends or brand names.
Both treatments are designed to improve skin quality, but they work in different ways and are used for different purposes. That’s why the decision is always made together, during a thorough consultation.
Profhilo®
Overall Skin Quality & Hydration
Profhilo® is a bioremodelling treatment designed to improve the overall health, hydration, and elasticity of the skin. Rather than adding volume or altering facial shape, it works by delivering a high concentration of hyaluronic acid that spreads through the tissue to support skin quality at a deeper level.
Its unique technology helps improve dermal thickness, hydration, and resilience, and there is evidence to support its role in broader tissue remodelling — including support of the skin–fat interface. This makes it particularly useful when skin quality has declined due to ageing, environmental exposure, or hormonal change.
Profhilo® is often chosen when skin feels thinner, drier, or less resilient — something we commonly see during perimenopause and menopause, when collagen loss accelerates.
Profhilo® may be recommended if you’re looking to:
Improve overall hydration and glow
Support firmness and elasticity
Address early laxity or crepey texture
Maintain skin quality long term without changing facial shape
It’s a treatment we frequently use as a foundation — helping skin function better so it responds more effectively to other treatments over time.
Typically, Profhilo® is introduced as a short course of treatments spaced several weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments to support ongoing skin health.
Sunekos®
Targeted Skin Renewal
Sunekos® is a regenerative injectable designed to support the skin’s internal structure. It combines hyaluronic acid with a specific amino acid complex to stimulate fibroblast activity, supporting collagen and elastin production within the dermis.
Because of how it works and how it’s administered, Sunekos® allows for a more targeted approach. It’s commonly used in areas where the skin is thinner, more delicate, or showing early structural change.
Sunekos® may be recommended for:
Fine lines and early textural changes
Under-eye skin quality concerns
Delicate or locally compromised areas
Clients wanting focused regenerative support rather than a global treatment
Sunekos® is usually delivered as a short series of treatments closer together, followed by maintenance sessions depending on how your skin responds.
How These Treatments Differ
While both treatments improve skin quality, they act on the skin in different ways. Sunekos® focuses on strengthening the skin’s internal framework by supporting collagen and elastin production within the dermis. Profhilo®, on the other hand, works more broadly, improving hydration, elasticity, and tissue quality across a wider area through its unique hyaluronic acid technology.
Neither is “better” — they’re simply different tools. The right choice depends on what your skin needs now, and how we’re planning for its future.
Which One Is Right for You?
This is where our approach is different.
You don’t need to decide whether Profhilo®, Sunekos®, or another treatment is right for you — that’s not your role. Choosing the correct treatment depends on your skin condition, facial structure, age, lifestyle, hormonal influences, and long-term goals.
That’s why every treatment at Bezar starts with a comprehensive consultation.
Your Next Step
The Consultation
Your consultation is where we take the time to:
Properly assess your skin and tissue quality
Discuss your concerns and long-term goals
Explain how different treatments work
Recommend the most appropriate option for you
From there, we create a considered plan that may include bioremodelling treatments such as Profhilo® or Sunekos®, or other injectable or clinical skin treatments better suited to your needs.
If you’re unsure where to start — this is the starting point.
Prescription injectable treatments, including Profhilo® and Sunekos®, are prescription medicines and are not suitable for everyone. A consultation is required to determine suitability. Results, risks, and treatment plans vary between individuals. All treatments at Bezar are performed following a clinical assessment and in accordance with New Zealand regulations.
What we offer
Skin Regeneration & Bioremodelling
Radiesse®
Collagen Stimulation & Structural Support
Radiesse® is a regenerative injectable treatment designed to stimulate your skin’s own collagen production, improving skin strength, firmness, and quality over time.
Rather than acting as a traditional volumising filler, Radiesse® works by supporting the skin’s underlying structure and encouraging long-term collagen renewal. This makes it particularly effective for areas where skin has thinned, lost resilience, or shows signs of more advanced ageing.
At Bezar, Radiesse® is most commonly used in diluted or hyper-diluted form, allowing us to focus on skin regeneration rather than adding volume or altering facial shape.
Areas Commonly Treated With Radiesse®
Radiesse® may be used to improve skin quality and firmness in the:
Face
Neck
Décolletage
Hands
Selected body areas where skin laxity or thinning is a concern
Treatment areas and technique are always tailored to your individual needs following consultation.
How Radiesse® Works
Radiesse® contains calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. After treatment, the gel provides subtle initial support while the CaHA particles stimulate collagen production over time. The gel is gradually absorbed, leaving behind newly formed collagen that improves skin quality from within.
The result is skin that feels stronger, firmer, and more resilient — with improvements that continue to develop over several months.
How Radiesse® Differs From Other Bioremodelling Treatments
While Radiesse®, Profhilo®, and Sunekos® all sit within the category of skin regeneration and bioremodelling, they serve different purposes:
Profhilo® supports hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality across broader areas
Sunekos® allows for targeted treatment of delicate or specific areas
Radiesse® is chosen when collagen stimulation and structural skin support are the priority
In many cases, Radiesse® is used as part of a combined, long-term skin strategy, rather than as a standalone treatment.
A Considered, Long-Term Approach
Radiesse® treatments at Bezar are never formula-based. Product choice, dilution, placement, and treatment areas are selected carefully to support your skin’s health, structure, and ageing process over time.
This treatment is often incorporated into our comprehensive Bezar skin plans, where collagen stimulation, skin quality, and facial balance are addressed together.
Your Consultation Comes First
You don’t need to decide whether Radiesse®, Profhilo®, Sunekos®, or another treatment is right for you. That decision is made during a thorough consultation, where we assess your skin, discuss your goals, and create a personalised treatment plan.
