Aesthetic Treatment Payment Plans in Blenheim: How Bezar Makes It Work
One of the most common questions I get asked, and one of the most frequent searches that leads people to Bezar, is some version of: "Can I pay for this over time?"
The honest answer is yes, and the way we've set it up is probably different from what you'd expect. We don't use Afterpay, Q Card, or any third-party financing platform. Instead, we built our own payment plan system from the ground up using GoCardless, a direct debit platform designed specifically for recurring payments. It gives us complete flexibility to customise plans to suit individual patients, and it keeps fees minimal, which means the savings pass to you, not a lender.
The short version: Bezar payment plans are fortnightly direct debits, clinic-managed, with no interest and no credit application. You start treatments straight away and spread the cost in a way that fits your life.
If you want the full breakdown of how it works, what's included in each plan, and how our approach compares to the financing options you might have seen elsewhere, read on.
How the Bezar Payment Plan Works
Our payment system is built on GoCardless, a secure direct debit platform used by thousands of New Zealand businesses. We chose it specifically because it lets us design and modify every plan ourselves, without being locked into a third-party lender's terms or fee structure.
Here is what that looks like in practice.
Payments come out fortnightly from your nominated bank account. They are automatic, so there are nothing manual to remember. There is no interest charged. You pay the treatment cost spread over time, nothing added on top. There is no credit check or credit application because this is not a loan product. Plans are clinic-managed, so if your circumstances change, you talk to us directly, not a call centre. Everything is fully customisable and built around your treatment goals, not a generic product menu. You also receive email notifications before every payment, so you always know what is coming out and when.
Setting up is straightforward. Once we have agreed on a plan during your consultation, you will receive a secure online link to authorise the direct debit. It takes a couple of minutes and your payments begin from there.
Why direct debit rather than a buy-now-pay-later product? Buy-now-pay-later platforms charge merchants significant fees, which often get absorbed into treatment pricing. Direct debit transaction costs are minimal. That means we can offer genuine payment flexibility without inflating what you pay for your treatment.
Our Two Most Popular Plans
We offer plans across a range of treatments, but two options consistently stand out as the most popular. Both are designed to make ongoing, quality aesthetic care genuinely accessible.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Plan
Starting from $17.05 per week, paid fortnightly.
This plan covers botulinum toxin treatments, the category that includes Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Relfydess. Anti-wrinkle treatment is one of the most requested services at Bezar, and for good reason. Consistent, well-timed treatment delivers significantly better long-term results than sporadic appointments when budget allows.
The plan is built around your individual treatment needs. During your consultation, we assess your facial anatomy, discuss your goals, and determine the right product, dosage, and treatment schedule. Your fortnightly amount reflects your personalised plan, not a one-size-fits-all package.
Every appointment includes a complimentary facial beforehand. We also reassess your treatment plan and goals at each visit, and provide ongoing personalised care and post-treatment support throughout.
Yearly Treatment Plan
Starting from $78.50 per week, paid fortnightly.
The yearly plan is for patients who want a comprehensive, strategic approach to their skin health and aesthetics over a full 12 months. Rather than booking individual treatments reactively, we design a complete treatment roadmap at the start of the year, combining multiple treatment types to achieve results that single-treatment approaches simply cannot match.
This might include a combination of anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal filler, regenerative treatments like Profhilo or Sunekos, microneedling, or other modalities depending on your skin and goals. The plan is entirely personalised.
When you sign up to the yearly plan, you also receive 10% off Bezar's full-price professional skincare range for the duration of the plan, along with savings on treatments through consolidated planning.
A note on pricing: the weekly figures shown are starting points. Your actual fortnightly amount will be confirmed during your initial consultation once we have assessed your treatment needs and built your plan. There are no hidden costs or surprises.
How Bezar Compares to Other Payment Options
If you have been researching how to pay for aesthetic treatment in New Zealand, you have probably come across several different approaches. Here is an honest comparison so you can see where Bezar's system sits.
Bezar direct debit plan No interest and minimal transaction fees. No credit check required. Highly flexible because the clinic manages it directly and can adjust the plan as your needs change. You deal with Bezar, not a third party.
Buy-now-pay-later (such as Afterpay) No interest if you pay on time, but late fees apply if you miss a payment. Involves a soft credit check. Instalments and terms are fixed by the platform. If something needs to change, you deal with the platform, not the clinic.
Personal loan through a bank Interest applies, often at a meaningful rate depending on your credit profile. Requires a full credit check and formal application. Repayments are fixed. You manage it entirely separately from your treatment.
Credit card Flexible in how you use it, but interest applies if you carry a balance. Works off your existing credit limit. Can become costly quickly if the balance is not cleared each month.
Paying in full at the time of treatment Straightforward, no ongoing commitment, but requires the full amount upfront. Works well for one-off treatments but can make consistent, ongoing care harder to sustain.
What makes the clinic-managed model different
The key difference is not just financial. Because Bezar manages the plan directly, your payment schedule is connected to your treatment plan. If your goals shift, your skin changes, or you want to adjust what you are receiving, we can modify the plan. That kind of responsiveness is not possible with a third-party lending product, where the financial agreement is entirely separate from the clinical relationship.
With buy-now-pay-later products, the merchant pays a platform fee on every transaction. Many clinics factor this into their pricing. Because we use direct debit with low transaction costs, we do not need to do that.
Is a payment plan right for you?
A Bezar payment plan makes the most sense if you want consistent, ongoing treatment rather than one-off appointments. It also suits patients who would like to spread the cost of a comprehensive yearly plan, or who prefer knowing exactly what comes out of their account and when. If you want to start treatment now rather than waiting until you have saved the full amount, a plan makes that possible.
If you are after a single treatment with no ongoing commitment, paying at the time of your appointment is always an option too.
Getting Started
Payment plans are discussed as part of your initial consultation at Bezar. There is no obligation to commit to a plan before you have had a chance to talk through your goals, understand your treatment options, and see what makes sense for your situation.

Good skin health is a long-term investment. A payment plan is simply a way to make that investment manageable from the start, rather than something you work toward and defer. If you have been wondering whether you can afford consistent aesthetic care in Blenheim, the answer is probably more straightforward than you think.
